  • Let's try this again

I'm going to try this again. As I said I picked up this knife at an auctionIt is a Dozier knife and is stamped d2 on the tang. The blade is 4 inches long and is 8 1/2 " overall . It has a brown micarfa handle and a very well made leather sheath. At first I decided that it was a hunter model but it doesn't look quite right. It has more of a drop point and less belly than I think looks right. I know these photos aren't up to snuff but the'y are the best I could manage . I would really appreciate any help possible to educate me on this great knife. I know there is info out there. Thanks

Hi Smiley, glad to see some fresh pics here. From what I can tell, I'd say you've got a full-tang K-DP Drop Point in the style of the Loveless Drop Point Hunter. Hope this helps, would love more pics if you get the chance.

Link for the 2nd Generation Drop Point (Has a 3 3/4 inch blade rather than the 4 inch like yours)
